Abortion

It goes without saying that, when it comes to the matter of abortion, there are people on both sides with strong held feelings. After all, it is the most controversial issue of our time.
But here at www.abortion.info, we are concerned that it is always the extremists who seem to grab the headlines and dominate the public conversations. Meanwhile, the vast majority of Americans seem to float around in the middle, they don’t necessarily see it as a simple black and white issue. For example, some pro-lifers support abortions in cases of rape and incest, even though the abortion is still “killing.” On the other hand, some pro-choice advocates support abortion only to a certain point or think that the number of abortions an individual can get should be limited. Views are not always consistent and, at times, they are downright hypocritical.
www.abortion.info is our attempt to provide the public with as many facts and perspectives as possible on this important issue. We have just started providing content for our tabs and in the future hope to give advocates on both sides the opportunity to provide a reasoned argument for their positions. We will not entertain those who engage in hyperbole or who make up their own facts. Indeed, we welcome suggestions from pro-lifers and pro-choicers on how we can make this page a useful resource for not just the involved activists but the vast majority of those who do not take an active role in the issue. Using this page, they can then make up their own mind.
HEY……!! I really thank you for sharing this useful blog on abortion. Most abortion in India is a mainly sex selective.
I am so sick of all the Pro-Life / Pro-Choice posts I keep getting. I am neither for nor against but see it like this. If you are willing to sign a legal contract saying, you will support a woman throughout her pregnancy to not get an abortion, then step forward. You should also be willing to take that child in your home after its born and raise it as your own. You should also pay for that child’s education and support this child emotionally throughout their life. If you are not able to do this, then stay in your own lane as your talk is cheap and you only hurt society by putting more unwanted children into our already overburdened children services and the foster care system. These same children who MAY end up in our legal system after they MAY have burglarized YOUR home robbed YOU at gunpoint or murdered someone YOU know because they have a lack of empathy after being raised without parents being deprived of that love and nurturing we all crave.
.
The pro-life baby contract should be handed out to everyone protesting outside clinics throughout the US. These people should also be informed if they violate the terms of the contract, they must pay child support to whoever has custody of the child until the child turns 18 whether it be the state or an appointed guarding. I bet you the protesters would disperse in no time and never show up at another protest. I want NARAL Pro-Choice America and other Pro-Choice organizations to go to these states, who are passing these new Pro-life laws, and directly to their governors and have them pass out this contract to each home who voted for these restrictive laws while telling these them that it is mandatory that they sign up and abide by the contract. Ironically, I bet you that the first things these people will holler are that their personal freedoms are being violated and no one should tell them what they must do in their own home. The question is, “Is it okay to abridge someone’s freedoms when you would not stand for it to happen to you?”
.
Ultimately what I am trying to say spans more than this issue and our society at large. What I am trying to say and emphatically believe is:
It’s now time for ALL people in our society regarding ALL issues of life being debated to either STEP UP OR SHUT UP!
